Born in 1985, lives and works in Paris
Agathe Labaye is a qualified architect, who studied in both Paris and Rio de Janeiro.
Her career to date has been characterized by an imaginatively cross-disciplinary approach. With the French architecture firm, Abinal & Ropars, she collaborated on the Arthur Rimbaud Museum in Charleville-Mézières near the Belgian border, as well as several social housing projects and numerous exhibition scenographies. She has assisted artisans, artists and designers like Pierre Bonnefille, Françoise Schein and Xavier Lust.
Since setting up her own firm in 2018, always seeking to embrace the entire scope of projects, she has worked on private residences in Paris, Burgundy and Corsica. She recently completed the exclusive Hôtel de Pourtalès at the heart of the French capital including her second furniture collection in collaboration with french artist Florian Sumi.
